A Solar-Powered Cell Phone
Global warming is really a big issue today. There are so many gadgets now that powered by alternative energy such as solar energy. Taking part in this new fashion, Samsung recently introduces the Samsung E1107. It is one kind of environment-friendly cell phones.
This Samsung’s new product has a built-in solar panel at the back cover. It may be inspired by the classic solar-powered calculator. The solar panel has a thickness of 1.2 millimeters. It only needs 15 minutes sunbath then it will be powerful enough to breathe life into a dead battery. It also eliminates the need of carbon-foot printing chargers.
Unfortunately, this brilliant power system is not completed with jaw-dropping features. There is nothing special with the features, just the ordinary FM radio and flashlight. But there is one special profile on this cell phone. It is the “Eco” profile you can activate that changes the screen brightness while shutting off the Bluetooth. This Samsung E1107 does not only save energy but will also save your money. It costs only $59. The bad news is it is only available in India so far. North America would be the last land to visit after it is spread out in the rest of the world.
